
Edward Stotz was the architect of this church, built in 1905.1 The parish closed twenty years ago, but the church has found other tenants and is kept in good shape.



A later relief of the Annunciation is over the main entrance.

Evans drew up plans for this church and was taking bids in March of 1903. But Evans was already in poor health, and on June 18 he had his fourth stroke. He lingered for two days and died on June 20. J. Father Pitt does not know yet whether Stotz took over the supervision of Evans’ plans, or whether he drew up new plans, or whether some other possibility he hasn’t thought of came about. ↩︎
